In addition to the core subjects of English, mathematics, science and world languages such as Spanish and French, the curriculum at Ashwicke Hall School is designed to provide knowledge of a broad range of subjects including social studies, art, music, health, physical education, and computing.
Ashwicke Hall School begins its university preparation in Year 7. Secondary students work towards mastering academic content and developing skills in abstract reasoning and critical analysis.
From Year 9 onwards, the knowledgeable team of staff engage in regular communication with both the students and their parents about university preparation. The path to university is tailored for each student's strengths, abilities and aspirations.
When Ashwicke Hall School students reach Year 10, they begin International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) courses; thereafter, students may begin a two-year A-Level Programme or a one year programme at the end of which they may sit for the American Advanced Placement® (AP) exams. In either case, the students may finish the High School Diploma in Grade 12 and also sit for SAT exams.
Through the carefully tailored SABIS curriculum, Ashwicke Hall School students are provided the knowledge, skills and experiences to gain entry to and excel in the most demanding universities in the world. SABIS alumni have been admitted to the world’s top universities including MIT, LSE, University of Oxford and Princeton University, among many others.
