Students organise Charity Color Run
The Student Life Organisation (SLO) put on a charity Color Run around the Ashwicke Hall grounds at the weekend, with students and staff paying £1 to take part. Students, dressed in white, were pelted with coloured powder as they ran around a circuit – great fun, good exercise and a colourful spectacle!
The aim of this event was to raise money for one of our PE teachers, Mr. Skevington, who is undertaking a long distance charity cycle. He will be cycling from the most southerly point to the most northerly point of the UK in 12 days, to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Lizzy Terry, SLO Coordinator said, “ It was such good fun, and great that we are supporting a worthy cause. We wish Mr Skevington good luck with his cycle ride in August.”
